Our competition is open to any rider who has enrolled in Zia Park lessons, clinics or school holiday programs in 2020/2021. The aim of the training show is to give riders competition experience in a low pressure and supportive environment. 

Riders may participate on their own horse or on a Zia Park horse. If riding a Zia Park horse, please indicate your first 3 preferences for horse or pony when you enter.  Riders who lease a horse or pony will be given first preference for that pony. Horses and ponies will be ridden by several riders.

Please indicate your horse or pony requests by clicking on the HORSE SELECTION button in the Options section after you have made your booking.

Please note this is a competition, your coaches will be there to assist you in your warm-up and to make sure that you understand the rules of the competition and are confident to perform at the level you have entered.

We will have an EA Dressage Test Selection: Prep A, Prelim 1C, Novice 2C, and Elementary 3A. 

Followed by the "Handy Pony" Obstacle Course. Riders will have to complete a course of obstacles within a stipulated time - some obstacles might be mounted, and/or unmounted. The riders will get to walk/experience the course on foot before attempting it with their chosen horse/pony. Obstacles include, but are not limited to: Bending poles, dismounting & remounting on the wrong side, walking over a tarp, rein-back, turn on the forehand, throwing balls into a bucket/hoop, rope gate, carrying cups of water, and more! 

This is to incorporate the learning activities from the January adult clinics, as well as to have as much fun as possible!
