Suitable for Novice and above riders over 17 years, with their own or one of our horses. Presenter, Darryn Gilham, is an expert of Extreme Cowboy Racing and has many years’ experience training horses. Have you ever wondered, "Do I push my horse to accept the scary tarp, or do I let it stop to have a look?" Knowing when to reassure your horse, or when to push them through/past it, is the key to having a good experience. The aim of this clinic is to learn about the horse's flight behaviour, and they will be exposed to tarps, balloons, balls, swinging sticks, pool noodles, water, and more! There will be a mix of mounted, unmounted and groundwork sessions. Darryn will illustrate the importance of desensitization, and how we can all achieve a happier, quieter horse
