Our competition is open to any rider who has enrolled in Zia Park lessons, clinics or school holiday programs within the previous 12 months. The aim of the training show is to give riders competition experience in a low pressure and supportive environment. Riders may participate on their own horse or on a Zia Park horse. If riding a Zia Park horse, please indicate your first 3 preferences for horse or pony when you enter. Riders who lease a horse or pony will be given first preference for that pony. Horses and ponies may be ridden by more than one rider, so each rider may ride in 2 events only.

Jump Cross is a mixture of Show Jumping and Cross country jumping. Our course will consist of between 15 and 25 jumping efforts and may also include a test of skill, such as opening and closing a gate whilst mounted, moving an object form one place to another etc. The round is timed and the clear round closest to the optimum time will be the winner. The cost is $80 per rider, this entitles you to ride in two events, either two rounds at the same height or two rounds at different heights.
