Session times are 0900 to 1 PM.  This program is suitable for Novice and Intermediate riders who are welcome to bring their own horse or ride one of ours.  This clinic has mounted and unmounted components.  

Unmounted sessions will cover dressage rules for competition, explanation of test levels and requirements, how to learn a dressage test, the judge's perspective, scale of marks and calling, pencilling and judging practice. 

Ridden work will cover paces, transitions and effective use of the aids.  You will learn how to improve your communication with your horse and how to correctly ride the test movements. 

If time permits, participants will ride a current dressage test at the level they are working at.  This will be judged by a current official EWA
judge.  You will receive feedback and have the opportunity to repeat some movements to improve your performance.
