Session times are 0800 to 12 PM daily. The program is suitable for Intermediate (confident to canter on a variety of horses in open spaces in 2 and 3 point position, some experience jumping minimum 65 cm) and Experienced riders.
Learn to ride cross country correctly and safely with good balance and control, to navigate a course of obstacles at the appropriate height for your skill level and confidence at a nominated speed. You will learn how to improve your own and your horse's confidence and give him the best chance to jump a safe clear round. You will learn how to use a cross country watch and develop your feel for specific speeds. You will learn the correct technique for riding different types of XC jumps, including drops, ditches, water, skinnys and combinations.
